The hospices of Beaune



The hospices of Beaune is a former 15th century hospital for the poor. It was founded in 1443 by Nicolas Rolin and is renowned for its traditional Burgundian architecture, as well as the famous annual Christie's auction of their wines.

Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy



The Museum of Burgundy Wines (musée du vin de Bourgogne) is located in the former Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy. The museum, opened in 1938, traces the history of wine making, with specific focus on the Burgundy wines of the Côte d'Or region. The palace has been a registered historical monument since 1924, and the museum carries the prestigious Musée de France label.
